Wide Band Digital Recorder(WBDR)

about us slider image

Wide Band Digital Recorder is intended to perform Recording and Replay of the intercepted at 70MHz IF with maximum bandwidth of 40MHz. Wide Band Digital Recorder system is realized in VME based modules suitable for packaging in 4U, 19” rack mountable chassis. System is controlled through the Gigabit Ethernet LAN.

Wide Band Digital Recorder is designed with One 70 MHz IF channel (With IF In and IF Out) & one 10 Gigabit Ethernet for time stamping and indexing. Channel Bandwidths for record / replay are variable in ranges from: 40, 20, 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25 and 0.625 MHz, selectable. Optimized (internal) anti-alias filters are used to filter the selected Bandwidths. Recording duration is of 6 hours at 40MHz signal Bandwidth. Recorded data is stored in COTS Solid State Disks housed in rugged Disk Crate in continuous I/Q format. Wide Band Digital Recorder is developed with Digital conversion recording and replay technology. Digital Replay FFT of the recorded signals is displayed on the remote machine. Analog Replay of the recorded signal at 70MHz IF is also possible. Remote controller connected via Gigabit Ethernet LAN is used to control and monitor WBDR system, entire recorded data and list of files are maintained over the controller. Data backup can be made to any remote machine over LAN from the controller. Signal can be monitored with amplitude of the Input Signal(s) on the Remote Controller System as a bar-graph. Auto files name generation with task details and time stamp is taken care by the controller. Controller provides user friendly options for Deletion of selected file/files, Analog/Digital Replay, Spectral display of live signal, Recording, Bandwidth selection, Check the status of Cards at WBDR, over write facility when recording media is filled.
